Quality Marks
In recognition of excellent building work, all entries judged to be at least 50% above industry standard are awarded a Quality Mark (either a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award depending on the number of points awarded). There is no limit on the number of Quality Marks awarded, as long as each entry achieves the required standard.
Bronze Awards are awarded to builders whose entries are judged to be
at least 50% higher than industry standard and achieve 75% of the points available.
Silver Awards are awarded to builders whose entries are judged to be at least 65%
higher than industry standard and achieve 82.5% of the points available. industry standard
and achieve 82.5%
Gold Awards are awarded to builders whose entries are judged to be at least 80% higher than industry standard and achieve 90% of the points available

Once again Benchmark Homes have set the standard in quality home building, receiving the only Gold award and Category win for New Homes $250-350,000 at the 2011 Canterbury House of the Year awards, for a property in Styx Mill Christchurch.
A home that received a Gold award in the New Homes $450-600,000 has also been judged to be one of the top 100 built nationwide, and has been awarded a National Gold reserve award, and will be rejudged by a National panel in November.
We also received the "Heart of the Home" Kitchen award for a property in Hampton Grange, Christchurch. This home also received a gold award in the category New Homes $450-$600,000.

Benchmark Homes are delighted that the home below has won the National Category Award, New Homes $250-350,000. This home was designed by Richard Evans, and is an excellent reflection of Richard's skill and experience. It was built on a small section, and the home is superbly designed to suit the environment around it.

Benchmark Homes once again proved our commitment to quality building and design, by another impressive result at the RMB House of the Year awards.
A home designed by Benchmark Homes Architectural Designer, Ross Shakespeare, and built by Benchmark Homes award winning team, won the local category and gold award for new homes $450-650,000. We also received a silver award for another home in this category.
As well we received 4 more gold awards, 4 silver and a bronze award for other homes built by Benchmark Homes.
Registered Master Builders House of The Year 2007 Another fantastic evening for Benchmark Homes, collecting 10 awards. Thats a 100% success rate, with 9 homes entered. We were also the Category Winner for new homes $250,000 - $350,000.
Benchmark Homes now has over 140 Awards to our credit, and we continue to lead the way with design and quality of new home building.

This home was the only home to be awarded a gold award in the New Homes under $250,000, $250,000 - $350,000 , and $350,000 - $450,000 category.
Benchmark Homes has had many achievements during 2006/2007 but our outstanding achievement as a business has been winning awards in the Registered Master Builders House of the Year. Locally to win the Placemakers Supreme Award and be recognised in the industry as the best residential builder in Mid-Canterbury was an achievement which Master builders strive throughout their careers to attain. Then to have one of our entries not only achieve Gold Status (judged as having the quality of building at least 80% higher than the industry standard), but to be re-judged at a national level and awarded a National Gold Reserve Award simply topped off an outstanding year for Benchmark Homes.
