Luke and Nadia wanted something with a simple design and free-flowing layout, and the security of knowing exactly what they were going to get at the end of the building process. This busy couple built their first home on a cleared section in Heathcote Valley, with Luke keen to capture the hillside views and make a feature of the nearby landmarks in the house. The award winning result was a really functional home, with scissor trusses and an open living area, with visibility to the outside yard where they can watch the kids play in the garden.
